Angel Blessings Candle Kit is a neatly compartmentalized box set containing these items; 14 different coloured candles, 2 angel themed candleholders, a meditation CD, an informative guidebook and a journal. As are all Doreen Virtue books, cards and kits, this is a welcome addition to anyone’s personal growth process. Doreen Virtue, Ph.D is known as ‘the angel lady’ as all her self-healing and personal-growth paraphernalia has some element of those sacred winged protectors.

The kit is intended to ‘focus your mind, prayers and affirmations, plus have a clearer connection with your angels,’ as the box cover will attest. So I will walk you through this easy to navigate kit. Reading the guidebook is your first step along the process, which will clearly outline the process of the candle kit, as well as the guide book is full of information explaining the uses of candles, what the different coloured candles mean, how to cleanse the candles and on oils and their uses. Then put the CD in and listen to a great explanation of what the candle ceremony actually entails. Beautiful meditation music with sounds of the ocean are a calming backdrop to Virtue’s voice. Then pull out the journal and write what you intend to say in your candle ceremony. What your wishes, intentions and goals are, what aspects of your life you will be working on for your future, etc. Finally, pull out the dainty candles, cleanse them properly and verbalize where your intentions for your life lay. Each candle has a different use and message, so you should identify in the guidebook first which candles you intend to use beforehand.

The Angel Blessings Candle Kit is not a ritual intended to make your life change; one candle ceremony will not a good life make. What The Angel Blessings Candle Kit intends to do is act as a facilitator for your dreams. It is a first step in making your dreams a reality, by putting your thoughts into words and marking that moment with a ceremony of intent. It is fantastic set for such a purpose, and a great help and hope for people starting on their journey.
