5 Stars Reviewed By: Clairvoyant Medium Beverley Ann (Ontario - Canada Correspondent) Oracle Cards can be so inspiring, when we need a gentle word of guidance or affirmation that we are on the right path, Oracle Cards can bring us those much needed confirmation we are searching out. Doreen Virtue ‘The Angel Lady,' has a multitude of decks for differing reasons and purposes. Healing With The Angels is a 44 deck of Oracle Cards is directed towards the process of healing specifically. Healing from the outside in, this beautiful collection I would find easy to use after my healing sessions. Healing With The Angels are positive guidance for people with illness or for people who search for positive lifestyles and answers. One card that immediately brought itself to my attention was the ‘Surrender & Release' card which has a stunning image of a woman holding a vessel type vase in her hands and a radiant light of angel wings directly behind her; this is a powerful image along with a powerful idea of "let go and let God." Anyone receiving such a card as this will be able to clearly recognize what they need to be doing in order to evoke healing in their lives. The Healing With The Angels cards are accompanied with a guidebook. Doreen Virtue says at one point in the guidebook that "Angel Cards are best worked with on an intuitive basis. This is how the angels taught me to work with their oracle cards" then Virtue proceeds to give a detailed description of how to use the cards to your greatest benefit. The guidebook is an informative reference point of what each cards' themes are, of course, it is up to yourself to decipher what the card means directly to you. |

Made In Where?
By: Kindah Mardam Bey (Ontario Correspondent - Canada) Recently, the question of where exactly my clothing is made has come to my attention. That little equal sign symbol on the back of Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin's hand represents Fair Trade. Which ultimately means that wealthier countries do not bleed third world countries for cheap labour. Seriously, it's a big problem, and while my brief encounter with awareness hit me in the early 1990s with Nike, and then with the outrageous brush with humiliation Kathy Lee Gifford was subjected to (wasn't everyone else doing the same as KLG?), I had little experience with the subject matter. Then the idea of Fair Trade slid slowly into my psyche, and when your High School school-bag toting cousin is more savvy on the subject then you, it's time to strip off and read the damn labels...Read More |
