Yes, you see the little red string bracelet fab stars like Madge (Madonna) and Demi Moore wear in their affiliation with Kabbalah, but most people haven't got a clue what it means. Fame comes with a high price, and one of them is that your religion might just become trendy. A real authoritarian on the subject, UK author Maggy Whitehouse has published twelve books on the subject of religion, including three on the Kabbalah. Total Kabbalah is the beginners guide to Kabbalah without having to pick up a stupid yellow book with the word ‘Dummies' in the title.

With Total Kabbalah you get an easy to understand guidebook about a mystical element of religion that appears to not be attached to any singular religion in particular. More a life's philosophy, the study of the Kabbalah according to Whitehouse's book examines the ideas of The Tree Of Life, Jacob's Ladder, and how Kabbalah is related to Chakras. Total Kabbalah is a great reference book and would be an ideal first year University text on the subject. Whether you are a student of academia or a student of spirituality, Total Kabbalah will be a great addition to your learning.

Whitehouse aptly explains in the intro "The book aims to be your companion and your map for the journey of Kabbalah. It will outline the route in simple, practical, and easy-to understand stages with exercises and suggestions. However, the journey is yours; nobody can take it but you.

Whitehouse has a gentle and pragmatic way of explaining the history and core philosophies of Kabbalah that would be easy enough for self-professed Kabbalah student Paris Hilton to understand, but intellectual enough so that someone with a more advanced knowledge base could also glean use of.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian 1951-2008
I can only think of one person when I think of this epic series that ignited my imagination as a child, that I saw versions of in theatre productions, that I saw on the BBC, and now on the big screen - My Auntie. It was her own love of the story that she passed onto me; perhaps just the way C.S. Lewis intended his story of Narnia to be shared...like a legend passed down to  each generation.
