Title: A time for all seasonings Director: BJ Crawford
Date saw the show: August 15 2007 A Time For All Seasonings – G (USA-5:45 Animation, BJ Crawford – Director) Mid-day cocktails and afternoon tea delight the audience of a Vaudeville Theatre in this ‘silent film’, but it’s the Shaker Brothers who steal the show…even from each other! 1 star Reviewed By: Emily Axelson The Shaker brothers are performing at a Vaudeville Theatre, and attempt to outdo each other on stage, in front of the entire audience! Even though it was only five minutes and forty five seconds, I found myself not paying attention after the first two minutes. The quarrel between the shaker brothers was anything but funny. It was pathetic and uninteresting enough to watch as a bystander. I don’t think I heard one laugh from the audience for the duration of this film. The animation was good, and the music suited it, but other aspects the film was lacking far outweighed heavier. Sadly, I would not recommend this film to anyone, under any circumstances. |

Nelson Mandela turns 90!
Hyde Park in
London (England) was host to the 46664 AIDS/HIV charity event to both celebrate
the heroes birthday, and promote awareness of his charity named after the
number he was gave for his 27 year socially unjust prison sentence on Robin
Island (South Africa). July 18th welcomed the `big stars`from Will Smith (who
hosted), to attendees Oprah, and Uma (Thurman) the event had `Birthday
Bash`wrote all over it. The performers list was endless, such as Annie Lennox,
and Josh Groban who both gave delightful tributes to Mandela`s legacy.
