Occupational HazardsPG. Mature Theme
(Australia-7:10 Comedy, Jason Cermak – Director) An Australian PR firm has to deliver a pitch to a terrorist syndicate. The issue; Terrorism is suffering an image crisis in Australia. Could re-branding be the answer?

A PR firm is meeting up with a terrorist syndicate to propose a pitch concerning an image crisis. With much contemplation, they consider re-branding. You’ll be bursting with laughter in your seats while you watch the PR firm and terrorists negotiate.

With all the other films in this category being so terrible, this was a nice refreshing change. I found it to be incredibly witty. I thought they did an excellent job of being funny without being racist and intolerant. I was half expecting it to be offensive to certain races, but they had people from a variety or races eliminating that idea. Occupation Hazards was consistently funny all the way through.

If you’re in need of a laugh, I highly recommend Occupational Hazards.

jennysung.jpgTop 5 Outfits in Film!

By: Jenny Sung (TorontoCanada)

So with the Toronto International Film Festival in town, I got to thinking about my favourite movie icons, the screen sirens, whose style remains timeless. With that in mind, let’s count down my top 5 outfits in a movie.

This list is no ordinary list; there are stringent requirements to make it on here. The star wearing the costume must be a style icon in her own right. Further, the outfit must resonate with all demographics. And lastly, the costume must be timeless and translate into this decade’s trends. So here's my list...Read More
