Wonderful! I loved everything about this movie – from start to finish. It was entertaining, hilarious and heart-warming. And what’s not to love? It has everything we all love about Disney movies – plus a dose of Dr. McDreamy….

The story starts in the animated world where, Giselle (Amy Adams), is waiting for her true love, and he arrives in the form of Prince Edward (James Marsden). They get engaged almost immediately, but Edward’s step-mother (Susan Sarandon) is not happy about it. In an attempt to get rid of Giselle, the step-mother pushes her down a magic well – which whisks Giselle away to another kingdom; New York City. She is incredibly lost, and in her desperation she meets up with Robert (Patrick Dempsey), a lawyer with a young daughter. He lets her stay for the night at his apartment, and it isn’t long before Edward turns up in the real world, and finds Giselle. This should be Giselle’s happily-ever-after, but for some reason she finds herself falling for Robert. In the end she has to decide – but who does she choose as her one true love?

This newest addition to the Disney films is not only very enjoyable, but creates absolutely loveable characters as well. Prince Edward is my favourite. He is your classic knight-in-shining-armor, a little clueless, and very hard not to love. I also liked Robert, because he was the modern-day prince, and he was very difficult not to fall head-over-heels for. I must also mention Pip, Giselle’s squirrel, who winds up in the real-world as well; and finds it very hard to communicate, as animals in New York City don’t talk. He was so cute!

Enchanted has all the makings of becoming a Disney classic, and I know when it comes out on DVD it will be placed beside my other favourites like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and all the others. I would recommend for anyone to go and see this film because it has little something for everyone; comedy, action, adventure and romance.

Nelson Mandela turns 90!
Hyde Park in London (England) was host to the 46664 AIDS/HIV charity event to both celebrate the heroes birthday, and  promote awareness of his charity named after the number he was gave for his 27 year socially unjust prison sentence on Robin Island (South Africa). July 18th welcomed the `big stars`from Will Smith (who hosted), to attendees Oprah, and Uma (Thurman) the event had `Birthday Bash`wrote all over it. The performers list was endless, such as Annie Lennox, and Josh Groban who both gave delightful tributes to Mandela`s legacy.
