One of the most anticipated albums expected to be downloaded this year will be Coldplay's newest. The lads are taking their time in re-recording and mixing to make sure that when the release date arrives (TBA) then it will be worth the wait. Bless ‘em.

chrismartin.jpgUntil then, any news from Coldplay is exciting news. Coldplay announced on the band website today (www.coldplay.com) that they will headline the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan. The event is held August 9th and 10th this year, at Tokyo and Osaka respectively. The bands usually perform on each night at the different cities and it looks like Coldplay will be following suit.

Other acts to perform at the Summer Sonic Festival will include Alicia Keys, Sex Pistols, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, Bedouin Soundclash, Junkie XL, The Metros & The Verve (didn't we all love Bitter Sweet Symphony!).

Coldplay will also headline, along with Jay-Z at the first ever Pemberton Music Festival in British Columbia, Canada at the end of July.

BATMAN (since 1939)
"The Bat-Man" has been going for almost seventy years now, and he doesn't look a day over marketable! Even my terrifying fear of real bats does not dissuade me from the allure of the caped crusader. Bruce Wayne, in super hero attire or not, seems to have it all; with his good looks, inherited wealth, charm, charisma and some suped-up cars. Of course, Christian Bale takes up the torch for the next generation formidably well in The Dark Knight coming to theatres this week.
