Originally listening to Two Hours Traffic, not the drive out of a city, but more the band from Prince Edward Island, Canada I was pleased to hear a somewhat rock and pop infused musicology reminiscent of the early 90s. As the first three songs rolled by I began to feel uninspired as the songs sounded similar and unmemorable. But, I was struck with pleasure at hearing the tongue-in-cheek quasi-ballad ‘Heroes Of The Sidewalk,’ oddly, after that the songs all got good, really, really good.

From Jezebel onward was a collection of songs that had a richer and more poetic balance to them that had an upbeat appeal, romanticism and melancholia that made you want to dance a little and reflect a little more. Simply put, Two Hours Traffic has never been so deliciously fun!A sophomore album can be a test of commitment for many artists, but when a second collection hits the radio waves it can show a maturing of a groups sound, needless to say, it appears that  Little Jabs, whih is Two Hours Traffic’s second has made a great first impression on many new listeners. Little Jabs has a Counting Crows feel to it and Two Hours Traffic has a wide appeal with their upbeat collection. I suspect Little Jabs will get some big recognition. To Find Out More About Two Hours Traffic, go to: www.twohourstraffic.com
