In American skater punk style, this quartet from France has been compared to Green Day, Sum 41, and Blink 182. Their catchy, jump-up-and-down songs overflow with brash confidence and exceptional musicianship. Even if you do not know what their French lyrics mean, this album is sure to have you singing along half-way through the first song.

Though the band is francophone, they do include a few English songs on their album and even do a cover of Blondie's "Call Me." Their songs also have a bit of an anthemic feel ("Revolution" is a good example of this) although the lyrics are not so much politicized as they are engaging. "Les Ombres sur la Route" shows off their acoustic abilities and also allows them to express their poetic side.  

Formed in the late ‘90s, the guys have been hard at work making a name for themselves ever since; this is their fifth album. Over the years the band has had the opportunity to open for many big names such as Sum 41, Yellowcard, and New Found Glory. As inspiration the guys cite the Ataris and Social Distortion among others. Their all-American skater boy style and inclusion of English lyrics shows that the band is striving to make their dreams of becoming popular in the United States come true. For their last album, Goodbye California, they filmed their first music video in LA, and in one of their songs they even state: "So what if I'm not American."    

I for one do not care which country they are from as long as they continue to produce their spunky punk/rock music.
